Elemental

Fire 
Lashing tongues scarlet gold,
searing heat shimmering waves,
bubbling sap crackling sparks,
choking smoke pungent pine.

Water 
Rhythmic swell drenching blue,
piercing chill crushing depths,
pounding surf crashing waves,
stinging slaps salty spray.

Air 
Bluster swirls hidden blow,
biting cold batters mind,
roaring howls whistling cries,
whipping breath stealing scent.

Earth 
Crumbling lumps chocolate brown,
sticky clumps wriggling life,
yielding clods squelching sods,
rotting dung fungal mould.
