Mi Wehs Once Ate Black Acorns Here

Mi Wehs once ate
Black acorns here,
Saw a monolith
Crash in awesome
Snow dust exploding
To reveal our gods.

You forgot we stood,
Moccasin close,
Refusing to freeze
Our Spirits.

Embraced by a cloud wind,
After the hours of waiting,
What did you really see?

Did you lie in honour beneath it,
Fading to a blizzard?

The blustery winds
Birthed you as a wolf.
So nearly a brown bear
Shaking the trees.

Admired by a falcon.
